What we collect and why

Public board browsing does not require an account. If you sign in, we store your account details: a mobile number for phone sign-in, or the email and identity details supplied by Google for Google sign-in. These identify your account and give you access to your private records. Phone sign-in is not available until SMS delivery is configured.

We store the session records you enter, including buy-ins, cash-out, expenses, hands and player notes, so you can keep your own history. Private notes are visible only to the account that wrote them, never shared with clubs or other users.

Players and public posts

Player labels are nicknames you choose. We do not ask for or separately store other players’ real identities; do not enter real identities or sensitive information in free-text notes. Club and table reports come from clubs’ own public WhatsApp group posts, may be out of date and are not guaranteed. Call ahead. We are not affiliated with the clubs listed.

Usage counts

We record app opens, page views using route names without private details, sign-in starts and completions, club page views, contact and interest taps, successful session and hand saves, and stake or club filter use. Events contain their time, a signed-in account ID or a random browser ID, and relevant club IDs, stake labels or contact/filter kinds. The random ID is stored in your browser and resets when you clear browser storage; anonymous unique counts mean unique browsers, not people. We do not record messages, phone numbers, personal page URLs, IP addresses, user agents or device fingerprints in these events, add third-party analytics scripts, or send events to external analytics services. Operator summaries contain counts only, never identities or individual activity. Taps do not prove completed calls or visits. Current interest registrations provide a separate counts-only summary; hourly buckets exclude withdrawn registrations.

How long we keep it

Ordinary raw club posts expire after 24 hours. An image attached to a tournament may be retained until the tournament ends. Expiry is scheduled: expired records are removed when cleanup runs, not necessarily at the exact expiry second. Session and private note data is kept until you delete it or request deletion of your account. Usage events are retained for up to 90 days and cleared during ongoing usage collection. Account details are kept while your account exists.

Your choices under India’s DPDP Act

Under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask what personal data we hold, request correction or deletion, withdraw consent to further collection by stopping use and requesting account deletion, or raise a concern. We use account details to provide sign-in and protect your records, private records to provide your log, and aggregate usage to understand whether the board is useful. We do not sell your notes or use them for club marketing.

To request deletion of your account and all its data, or raise a privacy concern, write to privacy@example.com. This is a placeholder address, not a working contact yet. A working address must replace it before email requests can be handled. We may need to verify that a request comes from the account holder. No automated deletion-request screen is available yet.

Service providers and safety

Our hosting and authentication providers process the information necessary to run the app. Google handles Google sign-in; once configured, an SMS delivery provider will handle phone verification messages. Poker involves financial risk; this app is informational only and gives no gambling advice.
